Our company understands that a ship is not just a ship, but a mobile industry, therefore we offer a wide range of services and products such as a great variety of deck, engine, cabin and electrical materials that we can supply direct from our warehouses (branches). We acknowledge the importance of Safety of Life at Sea, for this reason Ocean Safety S.A was founded in 1996. Ocean Safety counts with a state of the line life raft and rescue boat inspection and certification station, which is certified by major class societies and represents renowned life raft and rescue boat makers around the world. Also, it specializes in all other marine safety related items and services.
Recognizing the fast growth of the maritime sector in the Caribbean and its ever exceeding requirements, our organization expanded its operation to Dominican Republic in 2006 through our branch company Mercantile Shipstores Dominicana S.A., from where we service our customers with the same high quality standards that have distinguished us for over 40 years of experience.
